Bernard Dewamme has a track-record in high performance sport.

Former international hockey player and national level tennis player. As experienced coach of individual elite athletes in tennis for about 10 years and high performance teams in hockey.


After his international sports career he became Technical Director of the Flemish Tennis Federation.


Strategic and organizational consultant in clubs, guest speaker and sports commentator for the Flemish Public Television (VRT), Bernard is an experienced project manager and currently coaching fulltime individuals and teams.


He joined the Mentally Fit Institute as Client Partner and Business Coach. Drawing lessons from his experience in the world of individual and collective sports, he applies with legitimacy coaching models that are practiced within the Institute.

  • Certified coach of the Royal Belgian Hockey Association
  • Coach of high level hockey teams : Beerschot (Belgium champion in Division 1, 2008) and Leuven (Division of Honour 2009)
